Why File Conversion Matters

Embroidery machines can only read specific formats. A proper conversion ensures color accuracy, smooth stitch flow, and correct scaling for production.

Conversion Workflow

1. Upload or email your logo or artwork.
2. Our digitizer redraws or cleans up the file if necessary.
3. We digitize the design into your preferred format.
4. You receive both editable (EMB/OFM) and machine ready (DST/PES) files.

Native Working Files vs Machine Files

A native working file is not the same as a machine output file. Different software uses different editable formats. Melco DesignShop uses OFM, Wilcom and Hatch use EMB, and Embroidery Legacy Digitizing Software uses JDX as its working file format.
